ESSEX LAND ROVER CLUB LIMITED - Membership Application

The Club is a member of the Association of Land Rover Clubs (ALRC) and every member automatically becomes a member of the ALRC. The Club is a registered Motor Club with the Royal Automobile Club Motor Sports Association Ltd which enables members to take part in competitions promoted or co-promoted by the Club or the ALRC and provides insurance cover to members during competitive events.

The Club uses a secure internet-based Membership subscription programme called PaySubsOnLine. This programme meets all current criteria in respect of Data Protection and enables the Club to communicate with the Membership on a more focused basis.

Processing of Membership Applications Forms.
Membership applications are processed and details entered into PaySubsOnLine.
Introduction packs containing Membership cards, car stickers and fee receipt may not be received for up to four weeks.

CLASSIFICATIONS OF MEMBERSHIP

Individual Membership – Only the named individual will be considered a Member of the Club and can enjoy such benefits as that may provide.

Family Membership – Membership for two adults at the same address. Both are considered full Members of the Club and can enjoy such benefits as that may provide. This also covers any dependent children under the age of 18 years.

Additional Family Member – A family Member 18 years and over resident at the same address,

Recognition of Family Members and Date of birth - So as to enable all children, partners and non-drivers to camp at ALRC events, and have insurance cover, the names of all family Members registered with ELRC will be listed on the Primary Member’s card.
Dates of birth are required for those under 18 years.

Essex 4x4 Response Membership - This class of member will be able to participate in Rover Rescue activities and will be covered by the insurances in place. They will not be eligible to participate in activities of any other section of the Club. No voting rights will be afforded. The membership will be described as:- A member of the Essex 4x4 Response provided by Essex Rover Rescue, part of Essex Land Rover Club Limited. These members will not be deemed to be members of the Association of Land Rover Clubs.

MEMBERSHIP FEES (See above for classifications)
Membership will start after the initial application and subscription is received and expire 12 months thereafter. This later date will become the renewal anniversary date i.e. if joining the Club on the 3rd February then the renewal subscription is due on the 3rd February the following year.

Individual Membership Fee: £30.00 per annum

Family Membership Fee: £40.00 per annum (includes an additional adult and dependent children under 18 years at the same address)

Additional Family Member Fee: £10.00 per annum (a family member who is 18 years and over at the same address)

- Essex Land Rover Club Limited may send you information on all matters pertaining to the Club.
- this application is subject to Committee approval and that you agree to abide by the Rules of Essex Land Rover Club Limited.
- agree that the Club may store your details on PaySubsOnLine
- guarantee that, in the event of the Club being wound up, will pay such sum as may be required, up to a maximum of £1.00
